ABOUT US
Mike, Jenny, and Tyler
Buckin' R Rodeo Bulls was started in the spring of 2003.  Mike,
Jenny, and Tyler Ritchie live in the central part of Kentucky, a
rural farming community.  The Ritchie's have been farming for
many years.  Mike enjoys raising corn and soybeans while
Jenny enjoys raising her rodeo bred cattle.  Tyler, age 15, helps
his parents out doing many farming chores.  He has recently
started riding bulls, something he seems to enjoy.
They purchased several mixed cows in 2003.  Most of their cows
consist of Brahman, Brahman cross, and Brangus.  Jenny looked
for several months after purchasing the cows for a good herd
sire that would benefit their breeding program.  A call to Dean
and Tammy Rouse of Broken R  Bucking Bull and Genetics she
found just that.  Their herd sire # 131 Paintball had the size,
color, and athletic ability to throw into the calves.  They were so
happy with their purchase of # 131 Paintball that they went back
and bought his half brother # 31 Tab-boo.
Starting from the ground up is a slow process that takes allot of
patience and time.  They are willing to give all that in hope of
raising their own champions someday.  The calves out of the 2
herd sires are still too young yet to see what the future holds,
but the potential is definitely there.
